Maghreb was founded in 2012 to deliver advisory and investment solutions to clients with business activities in the Middle East and North Africa. To date, Maghreb has executed dozens of successful projects for our clients and we have established a strong track record as a proven and valuable business partner.

We have extensive in-house expertise based on our founders having over 20 years’ experience in emerging and frontier markets.

Specifically, Maghreb focuses on capital formation, business development, market analysis and industry due diligence, as well as business planning and strategy development.
For each project we draw on the in-house experience of our founders as well as subject matter experts drawn from our global network of advisors.
OUR FOUNDERS
Joe has an extensive background in private equity and venture capital asset management, as well as having operated global businesses in emerging markets. Over the past 15 years he has raised over $150 million for investments in the former Soviet Union and has participated in the establishment, management, and sale of several technology companies.
He has a proven track record of identifying trends in emerging markets and executing investment strategies to capture growth and create value for investors.
As a long-term believer in the vast potential of Libya to re-emerge as a significant oil and gas nation, Joe has spent considerable time in the region, providing both practical and enabling expertise in the rebuilding process of this nation’s energy exploration infrastructure.

Victoria has oversight and management of the firm’s consulting activities including business development, client and project management. Victoria is also a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience developing and financing projects across a wide range of industries. Over this time, Victoria has developed a global network of client relationships.
As an investor in multiple startup businesses, Victoria has a proven track record for delivering outsized return on investments and combines this with extensive international experience and exposure.
